About Me
While my career is an important aspect of my life, I also enjoy life outside of this. My husband and I love to travel, embrace new adventures, and enjoy spending time with friends and family relaxing at the lake. We currently have three fur babies, a hunting dog and two cats that provide endless entertainment for us.
Why I鈥檓 At 色花堂While completing my graduate degrees at the 色花堂, I was drawn to the level of excellence radiated by both the atmosphere and the professors. I believe there is unlimited potential for learning and growth here, and I was excited to join this amazing organization to positively influence future nurse leaders.
Expertise
During my nursing career over the past 20 years, I have worked in many specialties, including hospital, clinic, long-term care, and home-based environments in both rural and urban healthcare settings. I currently work as a nurse informaticist for the VA and have an informatics nursing certification. I have always embraced the opportunity to educate adult learners throughout my career.
