Catherine Robichaux, PhD, RN

About Me
I have been adjunct faculty in the nursing division at the É«»¨Ìà since 2013. Currently, I teach the Ethics and Informatics course, which gives me the opportunity to share my passion for the subject and learn from the students’ experiences. I was drawn to work at the É«»¨Ìà because of its rich Benedictine tradition. The tradition is lived out as everyone at É«»¨Ìà has always been welcoming and supportive.
Why I’m At É«»¨ÌÃI am at É«»¨Ìà because of the mission and vision of the nursing department. Having been a faculty member in both state and religious-affiliated universities, I know that the latter aligns better with my philosophy of living and learning.
Expertise
My clinical background is in adult critical care nursing, which I also taught in both didactic and hospital settings. For the past fifteen years, my work has focused on ethics in nursing. I have been and remain a member of several professional national and state ethics committees.
